The Robie Awards

Some legacies deserve more than recognition. They deserve an identity that captures everything they stand for. For the Jackie Robinson Foundation's ROBIE Awards Dinner, I created a visual identity celebrating the extraordinary legacy of Jackie Robinson and the individuals who continue to embody his spirit of courage, leadership, and achievement. Inspired by the iconic awards sculpture, the design integrates its triumphant silhouette directly into the typography, creating a distinctive mark that connects the event's prestigious history with a timeless sense of celebration.

My approach was rooted in simplicity, symbolism, and sophistication. A refined palette of navy and gold, elegant typography, and the unmistakable silhouette of the ROBIE Award came together to create an identity that feels both monumental and understated. Designed to translate across event environments, invitations, and ceremonial applications, the mark demonstrates how a single meaningful visual element can tell a much larger story. Because the most powerful identities don't just represent an occasion. They honor what it means.
